Chapel and faith

Faith is part of the school day

Each day begins with a song and a Bible story in the classroom. On Wednesdays the whole school gathers for chapel, with singing, a short talk and a time of prayer.

The head of school and the teachers lead chapel in turn, and parents are welcome to sit in.

  • Morning song and a Bible story in every class

  • A prayer of thanks before lunch

What families ask

Faith in the lessons and the year

  • In the lessons

Bible is a subject of its own in every grade. In history, science and literature, teachers talk about how faith and the world fit together.

  • In the year

The school closes for Christmas and Easter, and the calendar marks a few days of prayer and service. Families of every church are welcome to join.

  • Who is welcome

All families who want what we teach are welcome. Talk with the head of school at a visit about what chapel and Bible mean for your child.
